Sure all the guys are Almost Naked.....and their Bulging Biceps, Triceps, Quads and Pectorals make Danny feel Fat and Lazy by Comparison.

But I forgive them because in this Action-Adventure Movie....The MEN Act Like MEN!

They Don't Act Like Sniveling Cry Babies!

The Persians came looking to take what didn't belong to them by force and the Spartans were like, "I Don't Think So!"

300 is a movie adaptation of the great graphic novel by the Great Frank Miller.

The same Frank Miller who wrote the graphic novels that the Sin City movies are based on.

The same Frank Miller who single handedly re-invented Batman in the 1980's with Batman: The Dark Knight Returns.

The same Frank Miller who commands more respect from Danny than most celebrities, politicians and athletes COMBINED!

Yeah....THAT Frank Miller!

"Don't Look For Logic Or Historical Accuracy In This Movie"

This is obvious NOT an Historically Accurate Movie.

As Frank Miller himself says in one of the DVD extras: His purpose is to tell a Great Story.....not give a History Lesson!

Frank Miller's idea of a great story is to have rampaging Rhinos and Elephants as part of the invading Persian Army.

In case you haven't figured it out yet, the Persians did NOT have any rampaging Rhinos and Elephants in their army.

But almost everything in 300 is a exaggerated form of actual events according to the Historians interviewed on the Two-Disc Special Edition DVD.

He did this to safe guard his family and his country.

The last time I saw Gerard Butler was in The Phantom of the Opera.....if the opening credits hadn't listed Gerard Butler as the star, I wouldn't have recognized him.

Gerard Butler got into Tremendous Shape for the role of King Leonidas of Sparta.

Hell.....Everyone in this Action-Adventure Movie is in Tremendous Shape!

In an issue of Men's Health Magazine, Gerard Butler said that his workout regimen was VERY Intense.

"The Plot To 300 Is Very Simple"

Do you have any idea how long I've waited for a Movie Like This?!?

It's a very simple story....no complicated plot.

Xerxes of Persia leads an army of a million men....plus a few freaky prostitutes....to Sparta to rape and pillage their country.

The only thing Xerxes asks in return for NOT taking over all of Greece is for Leonidas to knee before him and declare him to be his new GOD!

And basically Leonidas tells Xerxes to, "Kiss the Pimples on his Ass!"

After that, all Fuckin' Hell Breaks Loose!

300 is Bloody Good Entertainment!

Great Special Effects....sometimes I felt that there was too much special effects.

At times the special effects is a distraction from the main story....the bulk of the effects are during the Fighting Sequences.

But it didn't bother me that much....after all, this movie isn't trying to be the next Citizen Kane, Gone With The Wind or Casablanca!

And 300 is following the example set by another movie inspired by Frank Miller....Sin City! Lots of CGI environments were created for that movie also.

Remember that both 300 and Sin City were originally Graphic Novel Comic Books! These movies are just trying to stay true to their sources.

"Don't Let Soft, Pussy Protesters Ruin Your Good Time"

All these protesters are trying to do is get free publicity for their own causes by using the Popularity of this Movie.

The protesters said everything from:

Blah, Blah, Blah!

Of course, it didn't work.....cause this Movie just resonated with people like me who don't care about all of the Bullshit that these Protesters and Activists care about.


Danny's Advice: Protesters and Activists are a Pack of Assholes who do Absolutely NOTHING except try to tell YOU and ME how we should Live Our Lives!

Be sure to do what these Pricks DON'T want you to do....Think for Yourself!

Go and See whatever Movie You want to see....after all, it is YOUR MONEY!

We love strong characters who will not Run Away from a Fight!

We have had enough of the Girlie-Men on the Big Screen!
